Entries for Foyle Scramble

FOYLE Friday Open took place in glorious conditions with Seamus Quinn (11) with 44 points claiming first place, second was Martin Kivelehan (4) after he scored 43 points and Richard Hamilton (17) with 39 points was the best visitior.

The Ulster Bank Mid Summer Open Stableford played at Foyle last Wednesday had an excellent entry with the 100 plus competitors enjoying favourable conditions on a course in fine condition.

Ruari O'Connor (19) returned an excellent 43 points for a one point winning margin over Gary Etherson (18) and on 41 points was Declan McKinney (18) who claimed third spot.

The Gross winner was Stephen Martin after he scored 33 points and Greencastle member Steve Fox (18) with 36 points won the visitors prize.

The Back nine went to Paul Cassidy (19) after he scored 25 points, Gary McEvoy (19) with 35 points won the juvenile section and Mary Hasson (33) with 24 points was the best lady. The CSS was 71.

On Friday, there's a scramble with a shotgun start at 5.15pm and BBQ. All members playing should have entered by tonight (Thursday) when the Draw for Teams will take place.

On Saturday the confined stableford competition takes centre stage, while on Sunday the club sweep is down for decision.
