Ernie cards a stunning score while Aaron hits his first hole-in-one
He won the competition sponsored by The Hair Parlour in Moira with a score that could even have been much better but for a triple bogey on the last hole.
Ernie had a very steady first nine, hitting four pars and a birdie but in his back nine, playing superb golf, he scored further birdies at 10, 14, 16 and 17 to finish five shots clear of his next opponent.

Hide AdThat turned out to be Club Captain Stephen Boyd (18), finishing on 42 points,
Third place was won by Craig Tiffen (8) after a count-back which included three other players, Alwyn Sturgeon (13), Brian McGonigle (17) and Tony Hamilton (14) who all finished on 41 points.
Alan Crockard (5) won Best Gross.

HOLE IN ONE
Aaron Smylie had his first ever hole in one in a GUI competition at the 14th and will receive a Boss Watch for his achievement.

Hide AdM P Repairs sponsored Saturday’s stroke competition and it was David Hyman (22) came home with a nett 59 to win a very closely-fought competition.
Darren McShane (14) finished second with 60 and third place was taken by Seamus Hegarty (20) with a nett 61. Best Gross was won by Ivor Harron with 68, two over par.
The Chipped Potato Matchplay Championship.
Alan Crockard has become the first finalist by beating Ian Jefferson three and two in the semi-final.
Alan took an early three hole lead and Ian, although playing extremely well, could not pull it back and finally conceded on the 16th hole.
