Frazer Cup at Brown Trout
The weekend competition at the Brown Trout was for the Frazer Cup.
Played in medal format it was keenly contested with two members ending up with net 65’s.
After the tiebreak was brought into operation Tommy McGowan (10) was declared the winner after opening with four over 39 Tommy moved up a gear scoring a one over par 36 back nine for 75, net 65. Ronnie Milliken (7) played most consistently throughout with a one over par each nine a gross 72 net 65 losing out on inferior back nine 32 1/2 against Tommy’s net 31.
Jimmy Kelly (9) took third prize with nines of 39 and 37 netted down to 67.
Tom Boyd(10) won the best gross with his 79.
The twos kitty was shared by Jimmy Kelly Seamus Doherty and Colin McConaghie.
