Free Fairways for NI Irish Open Team

The Roe Park Resort, Limavady’s luxury 4 star golf and spa resort has announced it is awarding honorary membership of the Roe Park Golf Club to the Northern Irish players in the Irish Open this summer.

Golfing Manager at the resort, Terry Kelly (pictured above) said, “We’re delighted to offer an honorary membership of the Roe Park Golf Club to the key NI players in this year’s Irish Open. We are extremely proud of our golfing ambassadors and want to recognise this with these honorary memberships.”

The recently refurbished luxury resort features an 18-hole parkland golf course and has a long-standing history of supporting the game in the North West and North Coast region.

Terry continued, “The North Coast has long been one of the most popular golfing destinations in the world and we’re proud to have played our part in that. We’ve been hosting international and local golfers here at the club for almost twenty years and having the Irish Open on our doorstep is fantastic – big events like this really inspire the next generation of golfers and help promote the game.”

With a recently renovated driving range as part of the £2.5 million investment in the resort, The Roe Park’s commitment to its golfing future is clear.

“We’re re-launching our golfing academy this summer and this will include a junior academy. We’re hoping to spot the next Rory McIlroy, Graham McDowell or Darren Clarke and nurture their game here at the resort,” Terry concluded.
