Congratulations to the team on their efforts so far in what proved to be very testing conditions with a strong easterly wind making it difficult to control the flight of the ball.

The return match is pencilled in for Saturday, April 26 and confidence remains high as even the Murvagh course could hardly present a much tougher challenge than our own home tie.

On Sunday the Open Stableford Competition which was kindly sponsored by SAHARAS of Chapel Road, went to Tony P Griffiths (11) with 37 points.

Second spot went to James Dalzell (18) after a break of tie finish with Martin Carlin (16) both of whom carded 36 points.
