Despite poor weather in the morning of the event an enjoyable day’s golf was had by most who took part.

Richard Dickson of RD Engraving sponsored a beautiful trophy and there was also £50 for the winner.

In third place, with 33 points, was Eugene Laverty, a former supply teacher in the school.

In second place, with 35 points, was William McQuistan, an ex pupil.

The winner, Brian Munnis, was also an ex pupil.

Brian had 39 points.
