THE Foyle Sunday Society again had an excellent turnout with the competitors enjoying favourable conditions on the Winter layout at Ballyarnett and high scoring was the order of the day with the inform Ciaran Gillen (19) returning a fantastic score of 47 points for victory.

In second spot was Sean Sands (15) three points adrift in second on 44 points Hamper winner Sean McEleney (26) finished third after a break of tie with his 26 points back nine giving him the verdict.

The Juvenile winner was David Knox (Jun) (16) after he scored 33 points.

The Pitchers Restaurant Spring League continues daily, as does the Easter Egg competitions, on Saturday the 0-7 handicap Winter Programme (draw at 10.45am, teeing off at 11am), takes centre stage, while the Sunday Society also takes place at the weekend.
