Second spot was settled after a break of tie finish with P Glackin (8) just pipping T McCann after the pair finished on 31 points.

The break of tie format was used to great effect this week as four players finished exactly on 34 points in the Thursday Society Competition.

Winner on the day was former Junior Convener, Noel Kehoe (16) followed by Colin Jeffrey (5) and John Hamilton (6).

Paul Concannon was the unlucky player who missed out.

Members are reminded that that tomorrow’s competition is the second major of the year, the Jim Bresland Trophy with five places on offer.
