GOLF: Mark takes Captain’s Day honours
THE Montra Golf Captain Wesley Howard was blessed with great weather for his Captain’s Day at Enniscrone Golf Club on September 8th with 38 members playing on the day.
The Captain’s prize winner was Mark Creighton with a score of 42 points. He was followed by Peter Whittaker on 40 points beating Lee Creighton on the back nine. P Loughrey took fourth place with 39 points.
The visitors’ prize was won by Castlerock Lady Captain Elaine Taylor.
Captain Wes Howard thanked Enniscrone Golf Club before handing over the reins to incoming captain Robert Ramsey MBE.
