Golf: Parke wins Redcastle Ladies stroke competition
Second was Rosie Agnew (21) who finished with 76 net and Gena Porter (20) with 78 nett was third after a break of tie finish.
There will be an 18 hole competition next Monday 17th August for those not playing in the ILGU 3ball event at Greencastle.

Hide AdJohn Kane scored 41 points at Redcastle’s Club Confined Competition last weekend.
In second place again with a score of 40 points on a break of tie was John Murray with Dan Joe McLaughlin in third place also with 40 points.
Willie Havlin claimed the gross prize with 30 gross points. Kris McClelland won the front nine with 21 points with Billy Harkin taking the back nine with 22 points.
While John McCormick narrowly beat the rest of the field in Redcastle’s Club Confined Competition.

Hide AdJohn scored an excellent 41 points to claim first place from a very much in form John Murray who scored 40 points to take second place.
Former President Martin Harkin was placed third with 38 points.
Meanwhile the Total Golf Club Classic took centre stage at Foyle last week with 20 plus teams turning out for what was a very competitive competition the teams of four event with two scores counting at each hole with all four scores counting at two hidden holes 5 & 18 was won by David Wilson, Declan Ryan, Brendan Gallagher and Robert Ewing with an excellent score of 106 points.
The ladies competition was won by Agnes McLaughlin, Faye McGrotty, Sadie O’Kane and Florence Rankin with a 90 points return.
