Gracehill GC Results

The Winter League Sponsored by D.B. Building Contracts continues to generate some fantastic scoring at Gracehill in both the individual and Team events .

On Saturday it was a remarkable performance by Chris Downing which caught the eye when he came off the 18th with a fine total of 45 pts - 23 of which were scored after the turn. Steven Bell was two back on 43 after aspirited attempt on the back nine resulted in 24 points being added to his opening 19!.In third another two back was Martin Hunter. In Division Two it was Cecil Linton who added another victory to his name with 42 points (21 in each nine).

Darren Simpson and Lee Munnis were only one back with 41 points each for 2nd and third respectively. Robert McNeill won the gross prize.

In the Team event there are four teams battling it out for the top spot in Pool A and only two points separate the top four teams: Fore Golfers 30, Mickey’s Mighty Men 30, Hells Bells 29 and Dark Wedges 28. In Pool B it seems to be a two horse race between Pin Seekers on 39 and A Team on 37 nearly doubling the score of 3rd place Top Hats on 20 and Job Seekers on 17 !
