Great comeback earns Jordan Leinster Youths title

Jordan Hood (Galgorm Castle) won the Leinster Youths Amateur Open Championship yesterday at Charlesland Golf Club.

Hood began the day five behind the leaders but a third round 72 put him two shots ahead of the field entering the final round.

On a blustery afternoon scoring climbed but Hood maintained his wo shot lead with a final round of 77 and to finish with a four round total of 298.
