Hamilton wins at Foyle
THE Foyle Ladies Monthly Medal, which took place on Thursday, August 26 and was won by Anne Hamilton (14) 70 nett, second was Sarah Hamilton (26) 72 nett and Theresa Timlin (23) with 74 nett was third.
The final of the Club's Singles Matchplay took place recently when Myra Gough (18) secured the Keys Cup in a close contest with Christine McCafferty (30) finishing on the 18th hole. The beaten semi-finalists were Margaret Killen and Sheila McLaughlin.
The plate event followed with Margaret McCarron taking top spot and Faye McGrotty and Ann Fulton in second and third places respectively.
Finally, the sympathy of the entire Club goes to Carol Scoltock on the recent sudden death of her sister and to Nicky Fallon on the death of her mother. Our thoughts are with them.
