Helen is the big winner on Lady President’s Day

TUESDAY, August 14, was Lady President’s Day at Banbridge Golf Club and there was a great turn out of ladies all playing to win one of the many beautiful prizes presented by Lady President Marianne Nelson.

Scoring once again proved difficult due to the long rough and wet conditions, however, this did not deter the ladies from taking part.

The overall winner on the day with 38 points was Helen Cocks. Helen picked up not only the Lady President’s prize of a beautiful bracelet but also the Lady President’s Cup which was first presented in 1928 by Mrs J D Smyth.
