Hepburn wins at Prehen

AT City of Derry, Graham Hepburn (5) won the Sunday Society competition with a very good 39 points played over 16 holes in cold windy conditions.

His card included 6 birdies on the 4th, 5th, 7th, 11th, 15th and 17th. Damien King (13) got second with a break of tie with 7 players on 33 points, while Brian Stanford (17) was third.

The Sunday society Order of Merit is tight at the top with Eamon McCourt leading on 178 points closely followed by Kevin Green on 170 points and Clive Brolly is in third place with 163 points.

Saturday’s competition was abandoned due to inclement weather conditions. Entrants will be given a free entrance to this Saturday’s competition.

While Fred Young (7) came out on top in The Joe Ramsey Trophy Thursday Society week 16.

Second spot went to Davy Godfrey (21) and Brian Stanford (17) was third after they scored 37 and 35 points respectively, The presentation of prizes will take place on Skippers Day, Thursday, April 4.

This weekend at Prehen on Sunday there is a Teams of four, any combination competition take centre stage, also on Sunday their is a fundraising draw for Junior Golf.
