Kelly creates history

FIVE handicapper Bee Kelly created a little piece of history at Faughan Valley last week.

The big hitter had seven birdies and two bogeys in his course record 64 round during week three of the Irons competition, which incidentally still hasn't got a real out and out leader at the minute.

While this weekend the Ronnie Parke Memorial competition, in aid of the Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke, takes place on Sunday. Ronnie was a former member of the club and his wife has kindly donated a trophy in his memory for the club's members to play for each year. There will be a time-sheet in operation.
