Lady Captain’s Day

THE weekend open stableford competition at Faughan Valley was played in near perfect conditions.

Coming home in first place was 21 handicapper Clifford Caldwell who scored 49 points, second was Chris Nutt (13) who scored 44 points and Geoff Bratton (17) with 42 points was third.

The draw for the doubles match-play competition sponsored by the City of Derry Building Society will take place today (Wednesday).

On Saturday, Lady Captain, Eileen Robb will be holding her Lady Captain’s Day and a time sheet will be in operation.

Everyone associated with the club wishes our lady captain fine weather and an enjoyable day.

On Sunday sees the welcome return of the club sweep competition.
