Loughery wins Roe Parkfundraiser

Roe Park held its annual club fundraiser on Saturday in an Open Stableford competition with fantastic prizes provided by sponsors DMC Properties.

Huge numbers turned out to support the club with members and visitors alike.

Alan Loughery and Jamie Vinnicombe played superbly, finishing well ahead of the field with both men scoring 42 points. Alan would have thought he let a good score get away with consecutive bogeys at holes 15 & 16 but a fantastic four iron into 10 feet at the 17th led to a superb birdie to get him back on track and snatch victory thanks to a better back nine.
