Lynne and Ita keep the prizes in t Hanna family

Lynne took top prize, as well as winning a day out with husband Peter, with a score of 35 points on what was a very difficult day with squally showers and the wind continuing to blow.

Lynne had an unadventurous first nine and when she failed to score at ten she must have felt fate was against her but no doubt spurred on by the thought of winning a day away with Peter, at the PGA tankard finals, she covered the last 8 holes in just three over par to seal the deal.

Ita Hanna made her first appearance in the prizes, for the year, with 34 points just pipping Ursula Dummigan on the better back nine. Ita started her back nine par, birdie which when everything was completed probably helped her win on the count back.

The gross for the second week in a row went to Cara Murphy. Cara is playing steady golf and will be enjoying supplementing her earnings with these regular gross wins.

It was all change in the weekly section prizes with Heather Shaw enjoying her return to golf by winning section one with 33 points, section two went to Eileen McCann with 31 points, just beating Joy Stevenson on the count back, and section three went to Ursula Dummigan with 34 points.

Last week Ursula had a birdie on the last but unfortunately this week the hole had it’s revenge and Ursula failed to score at it, which will have cost her top spot.
