McCann’s the man at Prehen as he cruises to impressive victory

Played in near perfect conditions Tony McCann (12) with 38 points claimed last week’s Thursday Society competition at City of Derry.

Second on 34 points was Billy Acheson (20) and Martin McNulty (8) with 32 points was third.

The usual Thursday Society outing takes place tomorrow.

The Turkey and Spirits Stableford competition on Saturday was claimed after a break of tie by Rodney Smyth (21) afer he scored 38 points, second also on 38 points was Rob Jefferson (13) and Eddie Mitchell (15) with 36 points was third.

While the Sunday Society competition was claimed by Dermot Hegarty (17) who scored 40 points.

Martin Duddy (13) with 39 points was second, Peter Deans (23) with 39 points was third, Emmet Hutton (11) was fourth, fifth spot went to Damian King (11) and Brendan Sands (17) was sixth.
