McCarron shines at Foyle

LAST Friday's open stableford competition at Foyle was played in near perfect conditions.

Despite windy conditions the sun shone and Darren McCarron (20) with 38 points was first and Tony Walker (14) with 35 points was second.

Last Wednesday's Crumley Construction Monthly Medal saw the category 0-11 go to Damien Kivelehan (11) after he scored nett 69, Shaun Bradley (16) with nett 69 won the category 12-16 and the category 17+ was claimed after a break of tie finish by Anthony Jackson (26) after he scored nett 69.

On Friday the over 50's confined competition takes centre stage, Saturday sees the Open Stableford competition, which is kindly sponsored by City of Derry Building Society, takes place. To Book telephone 71352222 and on Sunday the Crumley Construction Monthly Medal is down for decision.
