McCleay continues run
CITY of Derry’s Saturday Ball Sweep, which was played over 9 holes due to weather constraints saw Robin McClay (10) had his third win in four outings, scoring 23 points for a break of tie win over Jim McGeady (14), who also had 23 points.
Robin’s performance has merited the attention of the Handicap Convener and a possible adjustment may be made to his handicap, to reflect his outstanding performances over the last two months.
No play was possible in the Thursday Society or Sunday Society competitions once again because of the inclement weather.
