McDaid wins

A fantastic score of 36 points played over 14 holes at City of Derry saw Jim McDaid (14) claim first prize, on Saturday.

Second was Ricky Porter (14) who scored 34 points and Clive Brolly (10) with 33 points was third.

On Sunday Cecil Thompson claimed top spot, second after a break of tie finish was Clive Brolly and Eamon McCourt was third.
In the Golfer of the year standings Eamon McCourt with 152 points leads the way, second is Clive Brolly on 148 points and Liam McCafferty on 144 points is third.

Last Thursday’s Society competition was claimed by Liam McCafferty and Davy Godfrey was second after a BOT finish.

The Golfer of the year standings after 12 competitions sees Robin McClay lead the way, second is Ricky Porter and Fred Young is third.
