McMenamin back to winning ways

Eddie McMenamin made a welcome return to the winners enclosure in the City Hotel sponsored Open at City of Derry yesterday (Thursday).

Presentation to be held in City of Derry Clubhouse tonight.

Playing off a handicap of 13, Eddie put together a great score of 42 points.

He was followed by hard working council member John Flynn (13) who scored 40 points and the very consistent Iain Anthony (5) took third place after he finished with 39 points.

James Lindsay (0) with 38 points won the gross prize and Jack McAteer (14) with 39 points claimed the visitor’s prize.

Aaron Taylor (1) with 20 points was best on the front nine and Neil Duncan (17) with 22 points secured the back nine and Jackie McNulty (29) with 23 points was the best lady.

The presentation takes place tonight at 9.30pm in the clubhouse.
