Beckington still maintained his one shot advantage over Moore but Murray and Finlay both win a run of bogey, par, birdie had closed to within a shot of Moore, who slipped over the closing two holes and with a bogey, double bogey finish fell out of contention.

Beckington held onto his lead with a two bogey finish to win by one shot from Murray (bogey, par) and Finlay (par, bogey) who finished together and with a better back nine Murray took second place with Finlay third.

David Henry (19) had a two shot advantage over Martin Laverty (17) and James Logan (19) entering the back nine in Division 3. Clifford Irvine (16) was another shot behind.

After the Grove there was a new leader. Laverty had taken over from Henry and was one shot ahead followed by Logan and Irvine at two and three shots respectively behind Henry.

Laverty came home bogey, par and was joined by Henry with a bogey, birdie finish but with a better back nine, first place went to Laverty with Henry second. Four shots behind came Logan (two bogeys) and Irvine (par, bogey) and with a better back nine Irvine took the third spot.
