New format at City of Derry

THE format for this year’s Maurice Allen Trophy, which takes place on Friday, August 17 at Prehen, will be changed to an Open Stableford for Juniors.

This is a great opportunity for COD members and visitors to play the course, as from Monday 20th August, the All Ireland Under 15 Championships takes place at City of Derry. Members £3 and visitors £5.

Meanwhile Mrs Betty McBride’s lady captain’s prize went to Christopher Love after he scored 41 points, second was Adam Monaghan who finished with 40 points and Luke Hasson with 39 points was third.

The Mr Brian Long President’s Prize, will take place on Wednesday, August 15, while on Friday the Austins of the Diamond Open takes centre stage at Prehen.
