New Lady Captain for Lisburn Golf Club

At the start of February, the Annual General Meeting of the Ladies Section of Lisburn Golf Club was held in the Clubhouse.

A good turnout saw the new Lady Captain, Mrs Margaret Boyd, presented with her Captain’s blazer by outgoing Captain, Mrs Gil Colvin.

Margaret joined the Golf Club in 1980 and has been a committed and enthusiastic member over the years. She has served on committee on several occasions and has represented the club, both as a team player and team captain.

Speaking after her inauguration, Margaret said that she was looking forward to her year in office and thanked the members of the committee for their support. She also wished all players and team captains a successful season.
