Nutt wins at Faughan Valley

A full time sheet on a beautiful St Patrick's Day returned lower scores than expected, at Faughan Valley and with the course in excellent condition Brian Nutt (19) scored a credible 39 points with Damian Boyle (21) a point adrift.

Third spot went to Cecil King (14) after he scored 37 points, the front nine went to John O'Neill (18) after he scored 19 points and Connor McKnight (21) with 22 points win the back nine.

The best Gross score was five handicapper Bernard Kelly after he scored 76 gross points, best lady was Nadine Lynch (29) after she scored 35 points.

Best Junior was Andrew Crothers (16) after he scored 36 points, the Longest drive on the 11th hole turned up a surprise with big hitting B Kelly coming second to Richard Mongomery.

Peter Hasson (19) with 43 points claimed first prize in the Open Stableford competition, while Dan Hinds (11) with 41 points was second and Paddy Carton (28) with 39 points was third.
