Peter has edge at Silverwood

The weather at Silverwood golf club was warm last Saturday and the players have probably got their last day of summer.

This resulted in some fine scores, the winner was Peter McCabe who had a steady front nine of 20 points with his only dropped shots coming at the 1st hole with a bogey and a double bogey at the 5th.

All the remaining holes were played in par. His back was even better with one birdie at the 13th one double bogey at 15th and a single bogey at 17th, and again the remaining holes were played in par for a total of 22 points and overall total of 42 points and a one point victory
