Rankin to tee off for Foyle

THE Crumley construction monthly medal competition at Foyle Golf Club saw Jim McFadden (10) with nett 66 claim the category 0-11, the category 12-17 was won by John Jennings (12) after he scored Nett 66 and Liam McCafferty (20) with nett 68 won the category 18+.

The Fred Daly Memorial trophy qualifier saw William Rankin (14) come out on top after he scored 42 points and he will represent the Club in the finals at Lisburn Golf Club in September.

Today (Wednesday) sees the Holmpatrick Cup Qualifier (pairs competition) take centre stage, while tomorrow sees the over 50's confined competition down for decision.
