Redcastle GC Spring Outing takes place this weekend

A dry day but a chilly wind greeted the participants of the Captains Drive In at Redcastle Golf Club last weekend.

A good attendance ensured a keenly contested start to both Captains William Watson and Gina Porter’s year of office.

Conditions proved favourable with a course which had been heavy under foot throughout the last few months drying quickly throughout the course of the previous week.

An enjoyable day was experienced by most with the decision to change the competition from an eighteen hole to a nine hole proving popular at this stage of the season. The first place winning team were T Green J Ramsey and G Eakin.

Members are reminded that The Redcastle Spring Outing is on Sunday 29th March in Castlerock Golf Club. Members are advised to arrive half an hour before allocated tee off times.
