Last Friday Lurgan staged the annual Golf Classic in aid of club funds.
The winning fourball was Mickey O’Neill, Denny McInerney, Gerard Henderson and Francie Tallon and their 95 points took the honours. In second place was the fourball of Elmer Armstrong, Kenny and Ita Hanna and Gareth Hanna. The third prize went to Gavin Little, Conor McEvoy, John McEvoy and Phelim O’Hanlon. The longest drive awards went to Gavin Little and Julie Jordan. The prizes for nearest the pin at holes eight and twelve went to Roy Hanna Jnr and Stephen Hewitt. Raffle winners included Ita Hanna, Conor McEvoy and Conor Downey and Jim Stephenson. Winner of the large TV was Peter Devlin.
