Robb’s Captain’s Day was successful
FAUGHAN Valley Ladies Captain Eileen Robb held her Captain’s Day on Saturday with Geoff Bratton (16) with 44 points claiming first prize, second was Lee Totton (13) with 42 points and Cecil King (13) with 39 points was third, in the ladies section Celine McIvor (35) with 37 points was first, second was Ann McGoldrick (29) with 35 points and Jackie McNulty (28) with 35 points was third.
The junior prize for ladies and gents went to Loren Smallwoods (19) and Graham Curry (20), nearest the pin at the 8th hole was Ann McGoldrick while in the mens Patsy Quinn was nearest. The longest drive was hit by Elizabeth Mullan and Lee Totton.
Nadine Lynch (28) and Elizabeth Mullan (28) won the nines, while in the men’s front nine went to Gerry Irwin (13) and Shane McGahon (8) claimed the back nine. The Captain’s visitor prize played over ten holes went to Denis Callan.
