Roe Park Ladies round-up
THE Roe Park Junior Cup side captained by Carol McAlistor played at Edenmore against Larne and won 3.5 to 1.5. Congratulations to the Junior Cup team who are in the quarter-finals and play Spa at the Hilton on Wednesday, July 28.
The Senior Foursome team captained by Ann Kearney played at Roe Park on Sunday, July 11 and won 2 matches to 1 against Portstewart, the return match was played at Portstewart on Sunday with the home side winning 2 matches to 1 but the Roe Park Ladies won on leg difference. Congratulations to Roe Park for reaching the quarter-finals.
In Nelson's Charity Day Karen Brown (28) with 41 points claimed first place after a break of tie finish, second was Rachel Corbett (20) after she scored 41 points and third spot went to M O'Kane (12) after she scored 39 points.
The Longest drive was claimed by Carol Brown and nearest the pin on the 9th was Ann Dean. Congratulations to Nelson from the ladies branch on a very successful fundraising couple of days.
