Rossmore win the Jack Craig Mixed Foursomes

Banbridge Golf Club have a good record in the Jack Craig Mixed Foursomes, having won it in 2010 and been runners-up in 2009.

This year’s tournament was held at Tandragee Golf Club last Sunday and, unfortunately, the weather was just awful .

A total of 18 teams took part in the competition on Sunday.

Jacinta Rooney was the team captain and everyone tried their hardest.

Tom Mulholland and Suzanne Murfitt had 29 points.

Brian Mulholland and Yvonne Galloway had 28 points.

Rory McMullan and Jacinta Rooney had 28 points.

Martin McAleenan and Mildred Hodgett had 25 points.

Andrew Briggs and Mary Longmore had 22 pints.

Their 4-card team total was 110 points.

It was a respectable total but a long way behind the winners who were Rossmore on 124 points.

Still, it was an enjoyable day despite the conditions.
