Sam receives honorary membership

Sam Graham, a long-standing member of Down Royal Golf Club received an honorary membership of the club from club president Martin Fenton this week.

Sam, who is described by the Captain as a ‘well respected member of the club’, was presented with a plaque on Tuesday.

Sam has been a member of Down Royal Golf Club for around 14 years. He is the first ever honorary member.

Having been suffering an illness in recent times, was presented with the plaque by members who are wishing him the very best.

Captain Martin Fenton said; “Sam is a long-standing and well respected member, everybody is very fond of Sam.”

This year’s Captain’s Charity is Myeloma and Lymphoma.

Down Royal Golf Club has progressed in recent years and currently includes a children’s academy. Anybody interested in joining can contact the club on 9262 1339.
