Stephen secures Shirley Cup
Stephen Hastings, playing off 13, won the Dessie Shirley Cup at Gracehill with a fantastic score of 40 points.
After a volatile front nine which produced 17 points, Stephen then went on to display some exceptional golf over the back nine, playing the last seven holes in one under.
Jim Gillan, playing off 10, was second with 39 ptoins. After making the turn with 20 points, Jim followed this up with 19pts on the back nine courtesy of birdies at both par fives on the inward half. Steven Bell, playing off three, was third with 37 points.
