Nicholas Campbell was third on the tee box and although he went three down early on he fought back brilliantly to win the match gaining another three valuable points.

Fourth up was Stephen Loughran who came up against a real hustler of an opponent who just wouldn’t let up and after a hard fought match Stephen was narrowly defeated.

First pairings of Garfield Bell and Steven Mulvena also came up against stiff opposition and battled right to the end and with Garfield’s craft and Steven’s youthful energy they never gave up and were rewarded with two points.

The final pairing of Dwaine Hanna and Dermot Lavery was absolutely critical to the outcome of the match. As they did at Lurgan they delivered another jewel of a performance gaining six points after defeating a pairing that had not been beaten throughout the competition.
