Sweep results

SUNDAY JULY 22 - Garreth Moody became the 26th different winner of the Sunday Sweep when he played the nine holes in one under par gross 35.

Incidentally, Garreth holds the record for the lowest score in the Sunday Sweep. He shot an incredible nett 26 in April last year.

1st, Garreth Moody (9) Nett 30.5; 2nd, Luke Crory (16) Nett 31; 3rd, Hugo Downey (9) Nett 31.5.

WEDNESDAY JULY 25 - This was an extra special competition for all the juvenile members as the Lady Captain, Mary Dooher, generously presented the prizes.

Michael Young and Jack McKerr came out on top.

WHITE BLOCKS: 1st, Michael Young 40 points; 2nd, Callum McAleenan 39.

YELLOW BLOCKS: 1st, Jack McKerr 44; 2nd, Joshua Reain 44.

THURSDAY JULY 26 - Shane McCrory hit the jackpot in this Open Stableford competition. He won the top weekly prize and he was delighted to learn that he would receive a special prize from Mary Dooher, the Lady Captain.

1st, Shane McCrory (12) 44; 2nd, Glen Buchanan (24) 41; 3rd, Gareth Matthews (14) 40. Best Gross: Trevor Woods (4) 72.
