Swingler’s List prove that youth is no substitute for experience

The weather was magnificent as was the banter between the two teams captained by Peter O’Hara and James Hume.

Peter had asked his ‘not so young team’ (Swinglers List) to go to bed early on the Saturday night and to remember to take their medication before they teed-off in the final. They obviously listened as they all played well against their younger opponents.

This competition has been played for over the last four months and attracted a record entry of over 200 competitors who competed on a weekly basis.

Colin Davis won 6/4 against Ben Frazer

Peter O’Hara lost 3/1 against Keith Cranston

Stephen Gilmore won 1up against David McClure

Jim Fletcher won 5/3 against James Hume

John Ogle halved match with Jonny Patterson.
