And with the teams dropping their lowest scores, it is still to early to identify the eight teams who will play in the final.

The Annual Foyle Golf Club Christmas Hamper, played last Sunday, attracted close to 100 competitors on a decent day and there was some excellent scores returned with the best on the day 45 points from Stuart Gauld who took victory by a slender one point margin from Damien McColgan and Martin Loughrey who both returned 44 points.

There will be a prize presentation at Foyle tonight (Thursday), at 8.30pm for the Christmas Hamper competition and also for all Turkey vouchers won to date.

Foyle Golf Club Captain, Mr George Fitzpatrick on behalf of everyone at Foyle extends deepest sympathy to fellow Club member, John Faulkner on the recent death of his wife.
