Team Nike are new Autumn champs

Carole Quinn, Marianne Nelson, Kathryn Sawyers, Jacinta Rooney, Robena McCandless, Denise Nelson and Maura McGrath made up the winning side, who maintained their lead and amassed an unbeatable 556 points. Team Captain, Denise Nelson will relish the job of writing a victory speech.

In second place was Team Titleist. The ladies in this team were Mary Longmore, Mary Jo Thompson, Ann Blevins, Una McSherry, Vivian Faulkner, Mary Parkes and Valerie McClean. Their excellent performance in the final week of the competition saw them push team Bridgstone into third place.

They were Mildred Hodgett, Liz Armstrong, Sharon Allen, Mary Dooher, Janice Thompson, Kathleen Smyth, Bernie Cunningham and Anne Ewbanks.

In the individual stakes, Susan Magennis took the individual prize and the runner up was Carole Quinn.

This week, section winners were Mary Jo Thompson (Section A) with a fantastic score of 23 points, Ann Blevins (Section B) with 21 points and Ann Ewbanks (Section C) with 17 points.
