In August, at Andrew Crawford’s President’s day, £1055 was raised for the Macmillan Cancer Support fund.

David Bolas completed the ‘Lap The Lough’ cycle challenge recently and raised £1,400 for ‘Friends of the Cancer Centre.’

David who is a keen hockey player only took up cycling in May and started with trips of 40km. By the end of June he had stretched his limit to 100km and decided to accept the challenge of completing a lap of Lough Neagh at the end of August.

He got great support from his friends and was delighted to present Claire Hogarth with the cheque at Lisburn Golf Club last week.
