The 2014 tour will tee off in Majorca on Monday next, May 12th under the guidance of the Prehen club’s former Captain, Andy Meenagh.
No less than 10 past winners will compete this year, with last year’s victor, Maurice Quigg (City of Derry) back to defend his title in what should prove to be a very hotly contested tournament.
Two past winners who would love to win the tournament for the fourth time are Colm McCarroll (North West) and Maurice Brennan (Greencastle), as only Liam McCaul from City of Derry has won the Travellers’ Trophy on more than three occasions times having amassed five victories between 1979 and 1984.
