THE Winter League season is just around the corner

The 2012/13 competition will be over fourteen holes. The entry fee is £3 and the competition begins on Sunday, 21st October.

The first draw for Saturday starting times takes place on Thursday,, 11th October, at 7pm.

It will run for six weeks and conclude with the Big Day Out and dinner on Saturday, 8th December.

The novel Fed-ex style format for the top 15 in each of the three handicap sections will also take place again.

The handicap groupings are 0-9, 10-16 and 17-28 and there will be the usual weekly prizes in all three sections.

A Halloween Juvenile competition will take place on Thursday, 1st November, from 9-12am. Names can be inserted on a sheet on the Juvenile noticeboard on 23rd October.
