Youth is no match for experience as Council win Shield
The trophy is played for between the club’s council and the juvenile team every year.
In the top match, Lisburn Captain John Boyd and Norman McNellis halved their match with Juvenile Captain Mark McNellis and Mark Armstrong. Both captains holed long putts on the final green.

Hide AdNeil Patton and Glenn Walsh lost to the juveniles’ Aaron Marshall and Kyle Patton two and one.
Lisburn President Andrew Crawford and professional Stephen Hamill defeated Jack Shellard and Craig Ryan four and two while Noel Robinson and Peter Cairns halved their match with Josh Hamilton and Josh Clarke.
Richard McDermott and Sam Moore played well to defeat Ben McCambley and Ross Morrow and in the final match, Ken Haslem and David Megrath defeated Conor Heasley and Adam Clarke on the 16th green.
