Good form continues

ST COLMAN’S LAMBEG 26 (1) ST MARK’S 39 (6) - ST Mark’s continued their good form by taking six points from a 13 shots win in Section B of the Lisburn Indoor Bowling League away to St Colman’s Lambeg.

James Burns started with two doubles but by five ends Viv Wigton had pulled back to 4-5. St Colman’s finished with one, three, one to win by six shots.

At the fourth Frank Agnew was 3-4 down and after a “no score’’ at the fifth David Moore won the lastfour ends and finished with a four to win by nine shots.

Three at the second put John Burns 3-1 ahead but Stan Barclay won the next five ends and included a four to lead 10-3 at the seventh. Lambeg finished with one, three but lost by three shots.

Thre at the fourth gave Gary McWilliams a 4-2 lead but I. Robinson came back with two, one, three, five and after Lambeg finished with a double St Mark’s won by seven shots.
