Always looking to do something outside (or in this case inside) of the box, rather than award Gordon a trophy, Down Royal Racecourse wanted to focus on something unique.

With this in mind, they teamed up with Robert Patton from Old Mill Saddlery. Old Mill Whips are the creator of the Procush Whips which are now mandatory in National Hunt Steeplechase.

The Down Royal Racecourse was delighted to present one of these whips in a presentation case to Gordon to celebrate his achievements in 2015, in particular over the two day Festival in October.
