The sun was bouncing off the greens and not a single ripple on the lakes as the Lost Boys flooded the fairways in style, sporting their brand new jerseys sponsored by McGaffin Mechanical Limited.

The lake on the fourth proved difficult for most but not for Aaron Cobb as he quite easily whipped the socks and shoes off and entered into the two feet of water to play out of with a par insight.

A great match up between himself and Conor Downey continued to progress throughout the round.

Another great matchup was between Stuart Singer and Keith Maguire with the latter storming into an early lead, only to see him crumble on the back nine, only registering the six points.

As play continued it was the days result that counted and with two outstanding forty point scores carded from a fifteen and sixteen handicappers in Craig Anderson and Jason Gourley respectfully, it was Jason who took this month’s honours on count back, winning the trophy and the monthly title going home with him.

Another superb venue in Concra Wood, with great golf on show, has come and gone for the Lost Boys and next up in this exciting calendar for them is the tough and challenging Kilkeel on the tenth of April.
