JAMES McIlhatton playing off 28 scored a fine 40 point total for 1st prize in the Sunday sweep on 24th January.

Only one point back was Malachy Carey on 39 pts followed by Kenny McMullan on 38 pts and in 4th was Lester McCloy 37 pts.

Best gross was secured by three handicapper Robert McNeill who completed his round in 76 strokes.

Twos were scored by six players Miller Eagleson, George Horner, Charlie Kearns, Michael Liken, Lester McCloy and Ben Napier.

On Saturday 6 February Shaun McCook was firmly in the driving seat with 41 points off his 13 handicap to win Division 1 followed by Philip Bell 39 pts and James McClenaghan and Tuck Young separated only by count back.

Darren Lamont's 75 off his five handicap did the job for best Gross prize.

In Division 2 Robert McBride off 26 scored a great points tally of 44 for 1st place four clear of Cahal McAuley in 2nd . Donal Gillan scored 38 pts for 3rd place, one clear of Aaron Patterson. Ten players shared the twos kitty - 4 scored at the 7th, MaCool's Quarry they were from, James McClelland, Johnny Munnis, Aaron Bell and Paul Sayers .

The scene of the other six twos was the short but tricky 16th Oasis and they came from Steven Bell, Leslie McCauley, James McClenaghan, David Radcliffe, Darren Simpson and Ivan Walker. Winter League and Sweeps continue next week.
